Tru Tech Grinding Units

The unique design of the TRU TECH Perimetric Grinding Units removes the need for manual alignment. A part being ground can be removed from the regulating roller, inspected, and returned by hand without any additional setup or recalibration. Part repeatability is maintained within millionths, with concentricity held to the same level of precision.

The design allows grinding of various shapes and forms across a wide range of materials. Diameters as small as .001” and up to 5” can be accommodated. Value-added features help reduce setup time and increase production efficiency, while consistent, tightly held tolerances make TRU TECH grinding units a strong solution for high-precision applications.

TT5000

With a 5” wide regulating roller supported by a solid carbide spindle, the TT5000 grinding fixture has maximum rigidity for superior surface finishes and repeatable accuracy guaranteed to within 0.000030” (<1 micron) run-out.

PP8000

The PP8000 ultra-precision grinding fixture is both versatile and extremely accurate. With a 3” wide regulating roller, it’s guaranteed to less than 0.000030” (< 1 micron) run-out. This grinding unit is an ideal solution for round tooling and cutting tool blanks where concentricity and roundness are critical.
